DrumJam

What it is

DrumJam takes the drums out of the songs you love, right on your iPhone or iPad, and finds their beat. Then the song plays three ways, switched in an instant without losing your place: No drums, so you play the drum part yourself, on your kit, a practice pad or e-drums; Drums only, to hear and learn the part; and the Original. A ring shows the bar ahead (kick, snare and cymbals) and counts you in, a click follows the song's own beat, and a loop goes round a phrase until you have it.

How it works

1. Add a song. Pick an MP3, M4A, WAV or FLAC from Files, or share it to DrumJam from any app.
2. The drums come out. DrumJam separates the drums from the rest of the band and maps the beat and bar lines. It all happens on the device: nothing is uploaded.
3. Play along. Turn the drums off and play them yourself, or listen to them alone to learn the part.

DrumJam Unlimited

DrumJam makes 5 of your songs ready for free, and the songs it comes with are always free. DrumJam Unlimited, a monthly or yearly subscription, lets you add every song you want. Songs already made ready stay playable even if you stop subscribing.

The subscription is bought with your Apple Account and renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, or in DrumJam: tap the DrumJam icon at the top left, then Manage subscription. Bought it on another device? Tap Restore Purchases there. The standard Apple licence is DrumJam's terms of use.
