DrumKlass is GrooveFX's drum course: nine units and 62 lessons, from holding the sticks and counting quarter notes to ghost-note funk, the grooves of reggae, Latin, jazz and soul, the records every drummer learns, double bass, sextuplets and odd meters. Each exercise is practised slowly and brought up to its goal tempo, then passed in a test, played on an electronic drum kit (MIDI), the keyboard or with a microphone. Every run is kept in a practice journal.
